La Casa del Pajar

It is a very cozy house that receives the name of House of the Pajar and that along with the rest of houses is within a plot in which you will enjoy garden, barbecue and swimming pool, All accompanied by the best possible views of the town.

The house has a total of 2 rooms located on the second floor of the house:

• The first one has double bed. It is very elegant and your bed, quite wide, is already prepared with sheets and blankets. The sloping roof gives a different touch to the room that also has several furniture available to store all the clothes you have on this trip.

• The other bedroom is quad. Formed by single beds that are also ready for rest, the bedroom has several windows that let a lot of light and give a greater feeling of fullness to the entire stay.

In the ground floor of the house we have all the common rooms:

• We start with a living room composed of furniture in very rustic tones ranging from brown to reddish, in addition the fireplace le gives the final touch to this beautiful room that has sofas, furniture with TV and a large rectangular dining table.

• The kitchen is simple and has the basics to cook and make your favorite dishes. Appliances in perfect condition and that are fully integrated with all the furniture. Also cutlery and crockery to prepare everything exquisitely.

• The bathroom, in white tones has bathtub curtain, in addition to the sink and the toilet. It also has small furniture to store all your toiletries and your personal things.

The house has been totally restored, the original structures have been respected and we have limited ourselves to putting it in a very familiar way and giving it that touch that makes it a unique place.

When we talk about Zamora we are referring to a province that stands out for having a Romanesque architecture. Your cathedral is the most important monument. It dates from the 12th century and has a dome full of details and which is done in a meticulous way. The amount of churches that there are in the capital makes think the artistic wealth of which Zamora is endowed. To give some example, we recommend you visit the Church of La Horta or Santa María la Nueva. But not only of religious architecture the city is plagued, among its civil monuments we have a great castle and its walls that are from the 11th century. Another characteristic characteristic of this beautiful city is the passage of the River Duero for it and that we can appreciate it from its bridge.

The village where our house is is Fornillo de Fermoselle that has religious architecture such as the hermitage of La Soledad that is on the outskirts and is very well preserved and of course its parish, which is called San Martín de Tours.

We are surrounded by the Natural Park of Arribes del Duero which is undoubtedly the clear protagonist of the area. It is a protected area in which the Duero and Águeda rivers form a natural border with neighboring Portugal. It is very well preserved due to the little human presence that there is in this area in the surrounding villages.
