La Casa del Saúco

A few kilometers from Salamanca, specifically in the village of Le Vellés, we find this familiar accommodation that is located in the center of the urban center. Of imposing red brick façade, for a long time it was not inhabited until we decided to restore it and turn it into the rural house that it is today.

has a very elegant decoration that alternates with rustic touches and some color. Everything is very simple and very useful and in each of the rooms you will find what you need to feel at home.

Distributed in 2 floors, in the first of them we have the following:

• A kitchen bastante large whose furniture is in brown tones and which are perfectly accommodated all the appliances. With them you will cook all your meals in the best possible way and delight all your companions. In the kitchen we also find a small wooden table with their corresponding chairs to eat all together.

• The living room, walls in peach tone, has several sofas placed around the fireplace, important detail to keep in mind especially in the colder seasons, although it should be noted that we have heating en all home. In addition to the sofas, there are several armchairs and a glass window behind which a balcony with views to the outside hides.

• On this floor we have 3 bedrooms, each with its corresponding bathroom. One of the bedrooms has 2 single beds, while the remaining ones have beds. They are beds that are already prepared with games of sheets and blankets. They have large windows through which lots of light and also have cabinets to organize all your luggage.

• The bathrooms are inside the bedrooms and have a large bathtub, in addition to the sink and toilet. We have also left at your disposal towels and furniture for soaps, perfumes, etc ...

On the upper floor, which we access by a staircase, there is a large bedroom occupied by 3 single beds that are also lined by bedding. In this room we have a small corner with a table and chairs that can be used as a reading corner. Of course he has his own bathroom equipped.

The house has a garden in which you can enjoy the outdoors thanks to all the furniture there. Also note that you have parking area in case you decide to visit us with your own vehicle.

La Vellés is the small municipality where we find our rural accommodation. It is in Salamanca and is very close to other municipalities of interest such as Ciudad Rodrigo. Walking through its streets you can see the buildings that stand despite the passage of time. It is characterized by the presence of a lot of brick in the facades.

In Salamanca capital we will discover a city full of history and very important culturally. The Plaza Mayor Baroque style is undoubtedly the nerve center, where everyone meets, walk and have a snack. Here you can see his City Hall. Also note the famous cathedral of Salamanca, both the old Romanesque style and the new Gothic style. The Patio Chico is the point where the two cathedrals meet. The House of the Shells is an urban palace that is right in the center of the city and its facade is adorned with the element that gives it its name. Its interior patio has a careful architecture.
