La Casona

The accommodation is listed in Urrea de Gaén, Teruel, in the center of town. It has views to the Plaza de la Iglesia and to the Calle Mayor. It is a great house built in the XVIII century which has been renovated and rehabilitated. He has not lost his great personality and the splendor of an old house; but the 6 rooms have all the amenities.

The house is 2 floors, in each of them we find 3 rooms with their own personality and different decoration. We have 2 types of rooms:

• Room with 2 double beds
• Family accommodation with 2 double rooms.

The rooms with 2 double beds are very spacious. The decoration of each one is taken care of in detail. The beds come dressed in a classic way and with sets of full beds.

Inside the rooms we find matching furniture with the decoration in general of the house. They have a delicate table for coffee and a desk type furniture. On the floor we find a flirty carpet.

On the walls we find paintings and art motifs local old.

The family accommodation is composed of double rooms linked through a wooden door. The rooms are a matrimonial and the other, with 2 single beds. Likewise, both beds come dressed in full and with their set of pillows.

The rooms measure between 20 and 26 square meters and have high ceilings. Enjoy heating and free signal from WIFI.

In the XoFrom the house we found a common area that has a large room with several sofas and armchairs located around a wood stove It is a warm space to share with family, friends and the rest of guests.

We also have a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace and a toilet.

The accommodation is in the village of Urrea de Gaén, Teruel, which in turn belongs to the Bajo Martín district. The population is about 500 inhabitants and is part of the Rutal del Tambor y del Bombo.

For cultural tourism you can visit the Villa Romana La Loma del Regadío, where olive oil was produced between the 1st and 4th centuries. On a small plateau near the village is the Castle of Albalate del Arzobispo, formerly a Muslim fortress.

La Fortress of San Pedro de los Griegos, dated in the 3rd century BC, is a construction that served to protect the area. It is very conserved.

If you are passionate about hiking, the route of the straits is a good place to do this activity. It has a ravine next to the Martín River. The views towards the ravines is impressive and along the way we find samples of rock art.
