La Casona del Jardín

This old rural house can be found in locality of La Fuente de San Esteban. In spite of its antiquity, it is in perfect condition, since it has been XX recently reformed X Still in many of its walls you can see the brick and stone with which it was built.

It is especially beautiful and to highlight its entrance. Surrounded by trees and plants that enter almost through their doors and white windows that contrast with the stone facade.

After this is a small patio in which we have built a cobblestone path to the access to the house, leaving on the sides areas of green lawn where you can enjoy sunbeds and a barbecue of craft structure. All decorated with different flower pots.

The rural accommodation can accommodate 5 people in 2 double rooms with beds that are separated and 1 single room. One of these double bedrooms has pretty spacious beds and also has a desk and an antique sink.

The bathroom is complete and shared. In it there is a washbasin with a countertop and a shower tray surrounded by a wall of tiles and stone.

One of the rooms that retains more seniority is the kitchen. Although it has all the new appliances and the furniture is in perfect condition, we can find different elements that remind us of its past, such as a wooden bench, some shelves or utensils that are now part of the decoration. This room is also the dining area, it has a table inspired by a chess board.

The living room is located behind the entrance hall, entering through a brick arch. It can also be used as a dining room and its walls retain some antique items.

We admit the animal stay and we have available cribs.

There is heating in all rooms of the cottage.

The rural accommodation of La Casona del Jardin is located next to the Plaza Mayor, one of the busiest places in La Fuente de San Esteban and where is the parish church, built in the XI century and Romanesque style, although several times reformed.

In addition, is near the Natural Park of Arribes del Duero, a protected place of more than 100,000 hectares. Linda with areas of Portugal and Zamora.

Ciudad Rodrigo is very close to the town, a city of nobility and with a huge historical-cultural heritage.

In just 40 minutes you can introduce yourself in Salamanca, one of the 15 Spanish cities World Heritage. In it you can visit its famous University or the Plaza Mayor, among other artistic monuments.
