La Colombière du Château - Le Cabanon

We are in the heart of calm and beauty in the Provençal countryside at the foot of the pre-Alpine mountains and near the lac Saint-Laurent which is located in the gorges du Verdon. Our accommodation offers great calm and superb relaxation in a strategic location close to several tourist and natural sites.
We invite you to our charming Cabanon which is distinguished by its thick stone walls which allow it to be cool in summer and with a pleasant moderate temperature in winter.

This is a character cottage full of history and calm. It offers you a stay in a space decorated in memory.
In its living space with exposed stone we find:

• a lounge area made up of a sofa and a coffee table in front of a fireplace.
• A dining area with a wooden table and chairs
• and a very nice kitchen in the traditional style but made in a very original way.

This space is very comfortable and fully equipped, it opens onto a private terrace furnished with a table, chairs, a parasol and a barbecue. And from this terrace you can contemplate the beauty of the countryside which stretches over 3000m² planted with olive, almond and fig trees.

Upstairs you will find:

• a bathroom with shower and toilet,
• and 2 bedrooms Romantic, comfortable and very soothing. Their windows open onto the fields of lavender flowers between mid-June and mid-July.

Enjoy a stay with your family or with your partner in a very calm and pleasant environment.
Our accommodation is made mainly for lovers of nature and ecology . We use solar panels for electricity and we filter the spring water or rainwater.

But if you also want to get out of your oasis of peace and discover the surroundings, we invite you to visit the nature which is just near your accommodation and to explore the culture of the surrounding villages.
Visit one of the most beautiful natural sites in France "the Gorges du Verdon" which form the largest canyon in Europe, there you will find several sites of water sports and boat trips on the lakes of Verdon, lac d'Artignosc or even le lac de Castillon. You can still enjoy a nice hiking or mountain biking.

Discover the villages of character nearby and visit the village of character Riez or Castellane et Moustiers-Sainte-Marie or even Saint Julien du Verdon, Saint Laurent du Verdon in the Gorges du Verdon.
