La Fanega I

Organize your holidays in this rural house and you will see how you do not regret it. It is an entire stone house, within the Pinar de Navares urbanization and belonging to the Ávila Rural Complex.

This is made up of 3 independent houses and full rental and with different capacities. In fact, both this house and La Fanega II share some facilities, which are paid separately by :

• A indoor pool where you can take refreshing baths from April to October, included, in summer it will refresh you and when it gets colder, the water will be warm. Inside the deck there is a solarium area with hammocks, which in summer you can take to your garden and sunbathe while you recover energy.

• A jacuzzi with capacity for 4 people. It is near the pool and here the jets will leave your back feeling like new with their massages and the power of the water.

• A sauna in which several people enter and where you can eliminate liquids and relax with its heat.

But already for you you will have an area of ​​ garden of 900 square meters. With total privacy here you can prepare delicious barbecues, and you also have plenty of work and cooking space. Surely the food will taste much better if you taste it on the porch, where there is an outdoor table with matching wooden chairs.

And when you enter through the door and access the interior you see on the left the living-dining room, which is separated from the kitchen by a bar. This comes fully equipped with all kinds of electrical appliances (oven, dishwasher and washing machine) as well as a complete household item.

On the other side of the bar there are several corner sofas next to the stone fireplace, which is made of the same material as the walls of the house, all made of exposed stone. In the living room there is also a television.

On a higher level is the dining room, made up of a large wooden table and several matching chairs. Next to it are the stairs that take you to the upper floor where the 4 double bedrooms are. Of them 2 come with a double bed and the others with single beds, and they are totally different from each other.

The house also has 2 full bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a whirlpool tub, what more could you ask for?

From Peñalba De Ávila, a town with just over 100 inhabitants, it is a short distance to the city itself and you can come and do some sightseeing. Here you will see first of all the walls, in Roman style, and which is the only wall preserved in its entirety in the entire country. In addition to being the symbol that represents the city, it is also a World Heritage Site.

Inside you will see different places such as its Cathedral or the Basilica of San Vicente, from the 16th century and with a Romanesque style as can be seen especially in its north tower. Although you can also go to the Monastery of Santo Tomás, a 15th century convent where there are paintings by Pedro Berruguete and which was once the summer home of the Catholic Monarchs.

But if you don't feel like visiting the city and getting to know the surroundings of your own home, go hiking around Peña de Ávila or practice some fishing in the Pantanos de las Cogotas and in Fuentes Claras.
