La Oropendola I

The Oropendola is a complex formed by several houses that are located in the province of Jaraíz de la Vera. It is a beautiful place full of nature and where you can rest and at the same time make excursions that will allow you to discover magical corners.

The first home that we present to you is the single house, perfecta for 2 people. At first glance we are presented with a very rustic facade, made of stone, integrated into the landscape. Once inside we discovered 4 very well differentiated rooms that have managed to maintain the style that is presented to us, but always with a touch of modernity that makes everything perfect.

The room, and also room, is the first thing we find. The sofas are very well placed so that we have a very large space to move without difficulty. In front of them, a wooden cabinet where there is a television with DVD, perfect to enjoy a film session. We also have another corner where we have enabled a dining table and chairs so that the meals are perfect.

kitchen we access through a brick arch, gives a very elegant air to the house this type of decoration. It is a small space but it is well distributed. The appliances fit very well with the rest of the furniture where they are perfectly stored all the cutlery, crockery and the rest of utensils that we leave at your disposal.

The bedroom is the most romantic place in the house. A bed with sets of sheets and blankets that combine perfectly with a metallic headboard. Wooden tables and cabinets where you can organize your clothes and other belongings. The ceilings are also made of wood, which gives the perfect spot to stay.

The bathroom is very complete. In addition to the sink and the toilet, there is a jacuzzi. Surrounded by windows through which a lot of light enters, you can lower some blinds to give a little privacy to this space. Accounts with towels available during your stay.

Outside of the house we have a nice garden where we have enabled a table and chairs to eat outdoors and you also have a pool that you share with the rest of the houses.

We are in the village of Jaraíz de la Vera, in Extremadura. It is a beautiful place in which to visit important monuments, but also to know and enjoy nature in its pure state.

The Church of Santa María de Altagracia is one of the oldest in the municipality. It dates from the 15th century and was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in the 90s. A century after the church it looked like the Plaza Mayor, which has a rectangular floor plan and houses important places such as the town hall or the Manzano Bishop's Palace.

A very little distance from us we have one of the largest natural pools that exist in this area. This is El Lago, a room that is fully prepared and in which you can give yourself a refreshing dip.

In the nearby municipality of Cuacos de Yuste is the Monastery of the same name. Declared a European Heritage, the XX Monastery of Yuste was the residence of the Emperor Charles V. The entire baroque style was built in the fifteenth century and it can see clearly differentiated the church and the cloister from the rest of the construction.
