La Osa Mayor

Our accommodation is located in the town of Villafranca del Bierzo, in the province of León.

This house is designed for an occupation between 4 to 10 people, so it is ideal for family getaways.

Your stays are distributed in 2 floors.

On the Ground Floor you will find:

• An open space that integrates the room and dining areas. The living room is equipped with sofas and armchairs around a robust wood table. In addition to television and DVD equipment, the room has a chimney integrated into the natural stone wall. The dining room is equipped with a table and chairs with capacity for about 10 diners. A rustic style decoration, characteristic of the country house in the area. You can also enjoy reading moments thanks to a wide collection of books and board games designed for entertainment of the little ones.

• The kitchen is an aggregate and peculiar space since it retains the same stone that covers the walls of the house. It is equipped with all the current comforts, integrating into it the necessary appliances as well as a small bar to take energy tasting the products in the area.

The stairs of the room, designed in natural materials such as oak wood, lead us to the upper floor, which houses the bedrooms and bathrooms:

• 5 double bedrooms in which we will find marriage beds in 4 of them and 2 individual beds in a fifth. Each of them has a rustic style decoration with pillars and wood furniture in addition to a window with views outside the house. 

• 3 common bathrooms for all equipped guests, two of them with bathtub. The three are fully equipped with towels and other necessary household items for daily cleaning.

All rooms have heating and several radiators that areolate from the cold although stone walls and ceramic floors will serve to keep the house fresh during the summer.

From its roofed porch the beauty of the garden is observed. An extensive exterior space with a coqueto biological garden whose products you can collect and taste. The old well still retains, and next to him we decided to incorporate the picnic.

Valtuille de Arriba is the people where we decide cosntrurutu the major bear.  is located inside the municipality of Villafranca del Bierzo, in the province of León.

In spite of the inhabitants, the people retain a great winemakers that have peeled produced to produce a large amount of wine becoming part of the Wine Tourism Route of the region.

This is why, if you have the possibility, visiting one of the multiple wineries will be a pleasant experience.

This landscape full of vineyards can be traveled in routes on foot or by bicycle, allowing them to discover during the walk the diversity of animal and plant species that inhabit their forests. Pens of chestnuts in the autumn months, these trails are filled with walkers who go on a pilgrimage to Santiago.
