La Pallissa del Castell

The house is located in the town of Granollers de Rocacorba, Girona, and is an old hayloft restored in 2015 in the midst of a mountain environment and pure nature. It has capacity for 6 people distributed in 2 triple rooms s.

Both rooms have a double bed and a single. The beds are fully equipped with their sheets and a complete set of pillows. The rooms are spacious and bright thanks to their large windows.

Next to each bed are matching bedside tables with the wardrobe and the rest of the decoration in general.

Like the rest of the house, the roof of the rooms is made of wood and you can clearly see the wooden beams that support it.

The room is a large space with a large and comfortable sofa and a matching armchair. The decoration of this space is classic style and the materials are modern and with very careful finishes. The contrast between the stone walls and the clean clear ceramic flooring is very striking.

It also has a flat screen TV and a fireplace embedded in the wall. In this same space is the dining room table with capacity for 6 people and built with wood.

The kitchen has all the appliances, necessary utensils for a comfortable stay. All the elements are of high quality and new. This space is very bright thanks to the large window overlooking the valley. Through this window you can access a charming terrace where you can fully enjoy the views and the fresh breeze.

The house has 2 bathrooms built with the latest materials and surfaces. It has its own towel dryer. All rooms of the house have heating. The WIFI signal is free.

In the outdoor area there is a garden with terrace and a fountain. In addition there is a complete barbecue y ready to be used.

The accommodation is located at Granollers de Rocacorba, a small town next to the Llémena river valley. The center of Girona is just 20 minutes away. In the surroundings of the valley there are numerous shops where you can find typical local crafts and gastronomy products.

Sant Esteve de Llémena is located just 5 minutes from the house and Sant Gregori about 15 minutes by car. They are picturesque towns full of history with stone houses and very deep-rooted customs. In Sant Gregori you can visit the Castle of Cartella, the one of San Gregorio and the Church of San Vicente.

The mountain of Rocacorba is very close, is 992 meters high and is an ideal place for lovers of hiking and mountaineering. The peaks of the valley such as Sant Roc, Puig d'Adri and Sant Grau are perfect to have a panoramic view of the area.
