La Paloma

This rural house with capacity for 14 people, is located at Manganeses de la Lampreana, a small town in the province of Zamora, in the southwest part of the Nature Reserve of Lagunas de Villafáfila.

Completely renovated in the year 2000 and with 360 m², this old rural house of the s. XIX consists of 7 rooms (3 with large double bed and 4 with single beds) and 4 bathrooms (one of them with bathtub-jacuzzi ) .

In addition to a well-equipped kitchen and wine cellar, it has 3 rooms or different spaces to eat, read or play. In the living room there is a television, in the reading room books and music equipment and in the other room you can find various games, as well as another television, to enjoy with family or friends.

The construction maintains the architectural style of this region - Land of Fields - as can be seen in the facade, and inside, in addition to the classic wooden beam ceilings, we can find decorative motifs related to nature and surroundings.

La Paloma has a patio and garden where you can eat or dine using your large stone barbecue, sunbathe or play ping-pong in an area sheltered from the sun and rain.

The environment of the rural house is perfect to relax and enjoy nature as it is located in the Reserve Las Lagunas or "Las Salinas", being temporary salt water accumulations in the basins of two tributaries of the Ebro, on its way through the province of Zamora, in contrast to the sobriety of the cereal fields that abound in this area.

If you like cultural tourism, Zamora capital, located 38 kilometers from La Paloma, is a city with a lot of history and notable architectural monuments.

A little further, 45 min by car, you can find Toro, a very prosperous city in medieval times, known for its wine with Denomination of Origin, its old town as well as numerous archaeological remains.
