La Parra 1923

The Pontoon is a small district of the municipality of Requena, in the province of Valencia. It is the perfect place if what you are looking for is the calm and peace of nature.

Our wonderful rural house is for 16 people. is designed for large groups, so it has large rooms, so you do not have space problems.

The rural house was built in 1923, but we have rehabilitated it maintaining the structure of wooden beams and stone walls. The house has 500 m² distributed both inside and outside the house.

The accommodation is divided into 3 floors and consists of:

• 2 bathrooms
• Leisure room
• Garden
• Terrace

The bedrooms:

• 4 triple rooms
• One bedroom with double bed
• A room with 2 single beds

The kitchen of the house, has 60m². A fairly spacious stay, where you can enjoy preparing exquisite dishes in the company of yours. This place is equipped with all necessary items for cooking.

To enjoy all meals together, we have a family table for the 16 people, in the living room-dining room.

The house has 2 leisure and rest areas. The first is located in the low silver, and has a set of sofas and a wood burning fireplace, to liven up the room. The other one is located on the second floor of the house, and is ready for you to read, play or talk to each other.

The bathrooms of the house, have all the details ( towels, hair dryer, gel, shampoo, toilet paper ) for your well-being.

La outside area, has a cozy patio, where you can enjoy a family meal prepared in the barbecue and paella pan area. At night, you can go out and observe the stars that are seen from the terrace or the patio of the house.

We have a house adapted for people with reduced mobility. The ground floor of the house does not have any steps and the bathrooms are also adapted for them.

The municipality of Requena, has a lot of history among its streets. Different eras have passed through it and each one has left something wonderful that you have to see.

• Barrio de La Villa: It is the oldest neighborhood in the city, where the first signs of population were recorded
• Church of San Nicolás: Dating from the 13th century is the oldest of the churches of La Villa.
• Church of Santa Maria: Data from the 14th century is the largest of the churches of La Villa.
• Church of the Savior: Its foundation is attributed to the times of King Alfonso XI. His work began in 1380 and concluded in 1533.
• La Alcazaba: Built by the Almohads in the eleventh century, it is located in the highest part of La Villa.

• Palacio del Cid: Rebuilt in the 15th century.

In late August and early September, “ La Fiesta de la Vendimia ” is celebrated, which was declared of Tourist Interest in 1967. It is the oldest vintage festival in Spain.
