La Pizarra Negra

La Pizarra Negra is a rural property that is located in the Guadalajara town of Campillejo.

The appearance of its façade is reminiscent of the old construction techniques typical of the area, with slate covering as stated in the regulations of the “Los Pueblos Negros” region.

Due to its location near a lake and far from the center, it is a perfect option to disconnect from the big city and enjoy nature in its purest form.

This rural house admits up to 15 people distributed in:

6 double rooms whose names are inspired by the geographical features of the area, of which 2 have a double bed and the other are with single beds. All of them are decorated with robust wooden furniture that combines perfectly with the exposed beams of the ceilings, an armchair for moments of reading or simply resting, a nightstand and windows overlooking the garden.

6 full bathrooms that are included in each of the rooms.

A 2-room common area with a large living room with wood-burning fireplace, wooden furniture and 2 sofas that are located in front of the plasma television hanging on the wall, and a dining room with a large table and windows as well as an exit to the porch and views of the garden. All decorated following the rustic lines of the rest of the house.

A fully equipped kitchen that has a dishwasher, washing machine, oven and dryer, among other necessary appliances, where you will not miss the mountain views thanks to its large window.

Outside, a porch with several wooden tables and benches will allow you to observe the rest of the town or keep an eye on the little ones while they take a dip in the pool.

The garden, with its corresponding furniture: hammocks, parasol and chairs, will be a fantastic place to enjoy the barbecue or let your pet run freely because yes, we allow animals in this house.

And finally, a parking space for several cars also has a place in La Pizarra Negra.

Campillejo, the village of birth of La Pizarra Negra, is part of the council of Campillo de Ranas.

It is included within a group of typical towns and regions due to their construction techniques; all of them with slate material.

That is why they are known as “ Los Pueblos Negros ” and there is even a route to visit them and appreciate these techniques we are talking about.
