La Posada de Ziga

This Rural House of 1741 was at that time a military barracks, but in recent years it has been renovated and has become a small and small hotel fuck in ziga ( Navarra ).

The Ametallators Sala , the Guard Corps or names like El Polvorín are some of them. Another element that maintains that time is the registration of the hotel entrance, where they are carved by hand and on a red stone, the names of those people who built the building. 

But do not believe that the history of this hotel ends at the military barracks, because until today, it has also served from the Casa del Pueblo, inn and hostel of a female school.

Already in the 2005, in the month of August, the hotel opens its doors for the first time after being reformed and offering the public the possibility of staying in one of its 3 double bedrooms or in its only apartment

For all guests there is a number of common areas, such as the room, which is decorated with great care and dedication.

Maintaining the rustic style of the house, in this room, which is the largest of the hotel, original elements are preserved such as the gramophone or the radio that adorn it.

It is on the ground floor, in which there is also the dining room in which breakfast and dinners are served. Its walls are made of stone view, which give a lot of freshness to the room. Perfect for the summer months, and for winter the heat leaves the chimney in addition to the heating.

Already in the garden area, tenants can organize rich barboccas and taste them in the outer dining areas with adequate furniture and from which there are beautiful mountains views and in which there is a pure air. So pure that in this house no is allowed smoking.

The double bedrooms have been decorated and renovated with great care and dedication.

Keeping its original wooden beams on the ceilings and the stones seen bordering the windows, in these rooms guests can have a private bathroom in each of them.

Of them only one comes with 2 single beds, while the remaining 2 are equipped with a double bed.

In this village Navarro, about 50 kilometers from the capital, we can walk and know the parish of San Lorenzo. Is in the one known as Baztan Cathedral.

The Mirador de Baztan, like where the entire valley and with a pleasant walk to get there.
Very close to Zega they are loving, Aniz and Berroeta, 3 villages with a lot of attractive and great charm.

And if you want you can get closer to Pamplona, but be careful if you go in July to celebrate the San Fermín party (they begin on the 7th) and the city is full of atmosphere and of people!  You should not stop seeing its Santa María la Real and visit the walls of the city that are of the 16th and 18th centuries.
