La Quintana del Gallo III

It is a large estate located in the neighborhood of Terienzo, within the Asturian municipality of Selorio.

Its interior houses a traditional quintana, typical construction of the rural nuclei of the area, which has different communicated spaces and still retains the original character of its structure.

Perhaps, the most significant element of the complex is the hórreo, located in the front. The main door leads us towards the hamlet. Surrounded by lawn, with different plantings and with enough space to park several cars, favoring the safety and comfort of the visitors.

Perfect to go as a couple, although there is the possibility of incorporating an extra bed, thus increasing the capacity of the accommodation. The house is heated and equipped with the necessary services to make the stay more comfortable.

The interior was built in 2 floors, the first being occupied by the kitchen and the living room. The first has a ceramic hob with two burners, a minipimer and even a coffee machine to start the day with energy. The dining table is on the right side of the stairs, a little before reaching the living room, which has direct access to the garden terrace.

The double bedroom is located on the upper floor, as is the bathroom with space for the bathtub. The stay has a coquettish balcony overlooking the extensive back garden.

Only 2 kilometers from Villaviciosa, where in summer to spend a day of beach possible in Rodiles. One of the protected landscapes of the estuary that has picnic and different services to make the visit more comfortable.

If you like indoor tourism, La Quintana is close to natural parks such as Picos de Europa, where you can visit some of the most picturesque towns in the area, such as Ribadesella o Cangas de Onís. And already in the Council of Colunga, Lastres, known for being the scene of the Spanish series Doctor Mateo.

Nowhere in the Peninsula is cider produced in Asturias. As a tribute to this product has been made available to visitors and locals a museum en Nava, which brings the history and the process of making it and you can even try and pour it yourselves.
