La Ribera

This rural house is located in the village of Cabezuela, a quiet town that is located in the province of Segovia.

It is a typical Segovian house built in stone and wood completely restored and furnished with the original restored furniture.

The house has 5 double rooms, so it can accommodate up to 10 people. Some of these rooms are furnished with a double bed and others with single beds. 2 bathrooms completely equipped and located in the hallway they serve all the rooms.

In addition to the rooms the house has these common spaces:

• A furnished living room with a wide sofa in which to relax and relax reading a book while listening to the crackling of the firewood in the fireplace o watching a movie on the DVD device connected to the television.

• A kitchen fully equipped with microwave to heat leftovers from the previous day, glass ceramic to cook, dishwasher to avoid having to scrub after eating and washing machine to travel with less luggage.

• A dining room with a table where you can enjoy meals that you can then take advantage of to play table games.

• A parking area to be able to leave the car without problems and not have to worry about parking.

• A spacious garden surrounding the house equipped with outdoor furniture in which to savor succulent barbecues.

In addition, the house offers the possibility of placing a cot in one of the rooms to be able to travel with a baby, documentation on the area to know the environment well and heating to be able to use the house also in winter.

Cabezuela is a town in Segovia that has 687 inhabitants and celebrates its festivities on September 14. Very close to this town is Pedraza, a town surrounded by a medieval wall of the XI century which is accessed by a unique door that makes a tunnel in the wall.

A curious building of this population is the prison, located on top of a watchtower very close to the city gate. The tower has the jailer's home and several small cells poorly lit for the prisoners of misdemeanors and basements to which the prisoners who had committed crimes of blood were thrown.

In this villa is also a castle of the XIII century that underwent 2 reforms, one in the fifteenth century and another in the sixteenth. This castle is composed of a keep and a defensive wall that was formerly accessed through a drawbridge that crossed a moat. Today the bridge has disappeared, although the moat remains.
