La Sierra

We provide rural accommodation located at a very short distance from Torres, which belongs to the province of Jaén.

It is a cortijo Andalusian of 2 floors plus attic that is surrounded by a small garden and has capacity to host XX 6 people, distributed in XX 2 rooms:

• A room with a double bed
• A room with abhuardillados ceilings with double bed and 2 single beds of type bed-nest
• Cots for babies can be requested

Other rooms of the rural house consist of a living-dining room (equipped with television, chimney of firewood and library with some copies of maps and guides of the surroundings to organize excursions); In addition to an independent kitchen (which has all the essential elements for the stay of our guests) .

Completing the cortijo, there is another attic space enabled as a dining room and that has fireplace too.

The house is surrounded by a pequeño garden, plus an area de porch discovered that can be used as solarium and a small pool seasonal and barbecue of work since you can enjoy great views to the sierra.

You have the possibility of parking the vehicle inside the farm and, in addition, all rooms have heating electric).

The natural environment where the farmhouse is located corresponds to Sierra Mágina Natural Park (formed by forests of pines, junipers and junipers, whose highest point is Pico Mágina ) .

Less than 3 kilometers away is the town of Jaén Torres (with a parish church of the sixteenth century) and less than 6 km we find the town of Fuenmayor (here is born a natural freshwater spring) .

Few kilometers separate us from the town of Úbeda, a historical-monumental site of great value:

• Palace of the Marquis of Mancera (former alcazar, residence of the first viceroy of Peru)
• Church of San Pablo (mainly of Elizabethan Gothic style, but its main cover is of the Romanesque period)

Another must visit is the town of Baeza, with impressive monuments such as:

• Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady of Baeza (it was built by the monarch Alfonso VII and still retains the tower-minaret of his Arab times)
• Former University of Baeza (founded in the 16th century in which the beautiful Chapel of St. John the Evangelist stands out)
