La Umbría

In the municipality of XX Regumiel de la Sierra this house was born from early twentieth century.

The aesthetics of the house is characteristic of the original buildings of the Region of Pinares. Although its rooms have been reinstated , materials such as the stone in the walls that make up the façade and the noble woods in its interior decoration give it a warm and comfortable look.

At its entrance we receive a lobby con a wooden table and a stool. Jars and pots with colorful flowers welcome us. Wrought iron and wood are the materials used in the ladder rise to the first floor.

A house at 2 heights whose bedrooms are distributed at the top. They are 3 rooms bright despite its attic character. 2 of them are equipped with double bed and the third with 2 single beds.

All of them communicate with the living room. A comfortable space with views of the mountains and comfortable armchairs where you can rest in the heat of the fireplace, protagonist of the room. The kitchen, integrated into the living room is equipped with a dining table in which to meet as a family and enjoy lunch.

In the outdoor area you have a large garden, with a variety of vegetation and, for both winter and summer, a gazebo, with furniture inside, so you can enjoy meals outside at any time of the year.

A holiday home south of Burgos and at the foot of the Sierra de Neila, which mountains can be seen from the living room and the green space of the garden. In the vicinity of La Umbría you can find a site and one of the necropolis most important continent.

Unmistakable place to discover walking through the lagoons of Neila. Other places that you can not miss are the Rio Lobos Canyon and the Black Lagoon, a family outing where with luck the little ones can enjoy the flight of the eagles and the vultures and the howl of the wolves.
