L'abadia de Santes Creus

One of the most unique rural houses in Catalonia and located in one of the most beautiful towns, Santes Creus, in the Alt Camp region, 30 minutes from Tarragona and one hour from Barcelona.

The building is steeped in history and tradition, built in the 18th century, it preserves the charm of bygone eras but is equipped with all the comforts of modern life.

The property can be rented as a whole or by rooms. In total, it has the capacity to accommodate a maximum of 15 people.

It has 5 double rooms, 3 of which are bedrooms of 24 square meters and a single room. There is the possibility of adding a sixth room double in addition to 2 extra beds. The rooms are large spaces with balconies or large windows from where you can see an incredible panoramic view of the town.

In them, you will find antique wooden furniture (desk, nightstands, built-in wardrobes...) and simple and elegant decorative elements such as plants or squares. 

The rooms have access to shared bathrooms. In the house there are a total of , 4 full bathrooms,, and , a toilet.  All of them equipped with towels and courtesy items. 

Exploring the common areas of the interior, we find:

• 3 Rooms.  The living room on the ground floor is distributed in a space of 40 square meters in which no detail is lacking: shelves with books and tableware, sofas and armchairs, television, dining tables... a dream space to enjoy leisure shared. On the first floor there are the other 2 living rooms, smaller than the main one, they also have sofas and television.

• A kitchen with a dining room.  The kitchen has all the appliances that you may need during your stay, including: oven, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer... and all kinds of kitchen utensils and kitchenware. In addition, there is also a large dining table with chairs. 

Leaving the house you will access an incredible garden of about 3,500 m2 surrounded by laurels, cypresses, elder trees and walnut trees. Inside there is also a barbecue area, garden furniture for the summer, and a pond converted into a swimming pool.

The garden is private and very quiet, with no neighbors on its sides or surroundings, so it is especially attractive for activities with children and family.  pets are allowed in the garden.

The house is located in the Royal Monastery of Santes Creus. Near the estate, an exceptional natural and heritage environment. At the same time, you will also find bars and restaurants, tennis courts and supermarkets.

In addition, several hiking routes pass through the municipality, adapted to all types of audiences and levels. A perfect opportunity to take family walks.

Among the cultural routes that you can take in the surrounding area, we recommend:

• The Cistercian Route, where you will visit the monuments of Santes Creus, located next to the house, Vallbona de les Monges and Poblet.

• The Route of the Castles of Gaia, a journey through the oldest history of Tarragona.
  
• The beaches of the Costa Daurada, such as Tamarit or Altafulla, about 20 minutes by car.

If you want to enjoy hours of fun and adrenaline, the Port Aventura park is located about 40 kilometers away by road.
