Le Clos du Melezin

We are located in the south-east of France a few kilometers from the Italian border in the department of Hautes Alpes.
Our accommodation is located in a mountainous area at Serre Chevalier Valley which is perfect for the ski in winter (5 min from the gondola) and for the hike in summer.

We invite you to accommodation that will make your stay a real pleasure. It is surrounded by natural sites of character where you will have no choice but to relax and take advantage of the chance to exist to live such an experience.

This is a paneled duplex of 61m² on 3 floors and for 6 people in 3 very comfortable double bedrooms and common areas. It includes a parking private and a cellar for the storage of ski equipment and bikes.

The interior of the accommodation is spacious and very pleasant, its windows that overlook the exterior views of the area which seem like paintings.

You will find:

• A living room with bench, armchairs and coffee table where you can rest while reading a travel book from the library in the living room.
• A dining area with a large wooden table and chairs in front of a bay window which opens onto the incredible landscapes of the mountains opposite.
• A furnished terrace.
• A perfectly equipped kitchen.
• 1 downstairs bedroom with 2 twin beds and a dresser.
• 1 upstairs bedroom with 1 double bed and a chest of drawers.
• 1 attic bedroom with 2 single beds (trundle)

The department of Hautes Alpes presents the highest department of all the French territory. It contains the Barre des Ecrins in the Ecrins National Park which is the highest summit of 4102 m after Mont-Blanc.

This Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region is a paradise for mountaineers and climbers. And even if you are not a professional in these sports, you will love discovering the area and its secrets.

We invite you to explore the rich nature of the Alps during a hike in the trails of the Regional Natural Park of Queyras or National Park of the Ecrins which are located near the accommodation. During your journey you will discover authentic sites that have always been preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

If your stay coincides with the Christmas holidays, the Serre Chevalier Vallée will be super lively and all lit up during the festive evenings. The PROREL gondola is 5 minutes from the accommodation and many people come to spend their holidays in the valley.
If you come in summer and you want to discover the charm of the area through its architecture and monuments, we suggest you visit the charming villages nearby: Montgenèvre 13km away and the historic village Briançon.
