Le Petit Mercoire

Mercuer is conveniently located in the Mercoire Valley and it boasts a lot of cultural and historical heritage. This is the case with the Saint Loup church classified as a historical monument or the tower of Mirabel.

Aubenas, located to the south of the department, has a very large history which includes until the World War II and it also has around many tourist sites such as the gorges of the Ardèche, the mount Gerbier or the Cévennes.

Not much further is the Pont d´Arc and the village of Antraigues, also known as Antraïgues-sur-Volane, which is a few kilometers from Vals-les-Bains. The municipality merged in 2019 with Asperjoc to form the municipality of Vallées-d'Antraigues-Asperjoc.
