Ibarguren is only 20 minutes from the city of Vitoria, 40 minutes from San Sebastián and an hour of Bilbao.

In the andoin nozzles there is a limestone rock and some springs. It is worth highlighting as a point of natural interest the Aizkorri Aratz Natural Park.
Between Ilarduia and Eguino is the cave of the Leze. A Cerro de Araia houses the Castillo de Marutegui, used as a point of defense and founded in the seventh century.
