If we head towards the banks of the Guadalete river, along which we can enjoy a pleasant walk listening to the noise of its waters, pass under the shade of the trees arranged there, which is very welcome in the hottest months, first we will come across the Rafael Albertí Foundation, which stands in the mansion where this author of the Generation of '27 lived during his childhood and which now houses, in addition to the rooms of a beautiful house-museum, an exhibition space that collects all the materials of his poetic production.

Continuing in the same direction we find the beautiful Castillo de San Marcos, a medieval fortress that was built by King Alfonso X, on the construction of a pre-existing mosque, of which not only some exterior walls, but also part of it, have been preserved. of the sacramental rooms with their typical arcades.
