Los Serranillos - Los Pilares

The cozy house is part of a complex of accommodation that is located in the village of Pesquera. It is a set of 4 very traditional houses on its façade and that inside have been rehabilitated and decorated in a more modern way but always maintaining the rustic touch that characterizes the area.

This house in particular has 2 floors that are distributed in the best way possible to make everything very accessible and your vacation is perfect.

In the lower floor we have:

• A nice room with a sofa and that is facing a brick wall in which we have enabled a piece of furniture with the TV and next to the window a beautiful fireplace to heat the house in the cold season. There is a small dining table round to be able to eat all together.

• The kitchen is open to the living room, in this way we get a more open space. It has a structure of wooden furniture which are very well integrated with the appliances. We leave crockery and cutlery at your disposal so that the meals are perfect.

In the upper floor of the house we have the rest area:

• A bedroom with double bed that is already perfectly organized with the sets of sheets and blankets. It has an attic roof when it is on that floor and this gives it a nice touch and romantic air. They have a wardrobe and different furniture such as bedside tables or mirrors throughout the bedroom, this will make it easier for you to place all your belongings during the time you stay with us.

• The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. In addition to shelves where you will find toilet towels.

Highlight the presence of a balcony from where we can see the Sierra de Gredos. You also have a table and chairs and you can take advantage of sunny days to have a delicious breakfast or organize a romantic dinner.

The house, along with the other accommodations, has a parking area so you can leave your car on arrival and whenever you need to pick it up. It is very easy to access the accommodation thanks to the rural style entrance hall that surrounds all the homes of our complex.

Piedrahita, municipality in which Pesquera is located, is located concretely within the Corneja Valley that is completely bathed by the Corneja River. The most characteristic monument of the town is its church, Our Lady of the Assumption n. It dates from the thirteenth century and was built on an old castle, and although it has undergone many reforms, today is one of the most visited areas of the town. Another of the busiest places is the Palace of the Dukes of Alba inside which there are many works of art and has gardens that have been portrayed in more than one painting by Goya. In addition to a main square, in the town we have another series of monuments such as hermitages or convents.

As we have already mentioned, River Corneja is one of the protagonists of the area since it helps precisely to create some very beautiful paths in which the vegetation is very abundant. It is a tributary of the Tormes river.

We have the privilege of having close to all the environment of Gredos, which has many corners that can surprise you. The Cinco Lagunas are a series of lagoons of glacial origin that are in the Central Massif. The Peak Almanzor is the highest point of the whole mountain range. It is part of the group called Circo de Gredos and there the vegetation and the views are impressive. Highlight the presence of a salamander that receives the same name as the peak since it only inhabits this area.
