Mas de Muñoz

One kilometer from the urban center of Mora de Rubielos is this rural house, the ideal place to spend a few days with the family away from everyday life enjoying the town and the routes that can be done in the surroundings.

It is an old farmhouse, a typical agrarian construction of the ancient kingdom of Aragon, built at the beginning of the 19th century. It is built in stone and wood y completely rehabilitated to offer all modern comforts.

With capacity for 12 people, this rural house consists of:

• 4 bedrooms, one of them furnished with a double bed, 2 with 2 single beds and the room with a single single bed.

• 2 bathrooms with shower, one on each floor of the house.

• A living-dining room with 2 sofas in which to relax with a movie on the television while listening to the crackling of the wood-burning stove.

• A kitchen fully equipped with everything you need so that guests can easily and comfortably perform domestic chores.

• A diaphanous area where up to 5 extra beds can be placed.

• A patio ample with barbecue so that guests can enjoy succulent outdoor meals and sunbathe on the garden furniture.

• A corral with farm animals to enjoy fresh products every day.

• A ecological garden, without pesticides or preservatives, where guests can pick fresh vegetables for their meals.

• Parking area to not have problems when leaving the car.

Welcome to Mora de Rubielos, a town of 1612 inhabitants located south of the province of Teruel. In this town you can visit the ex-Collegiate Church of Santa María, a Gothic style temple built in the 14th century with stones brought from the quarries of the area. It has a single nave with a ribbed vault and in 1944 it was declared a National Monument.

At the top of the village is the Castillo-Palacio de los Fernández de Heredia, a fortress with thick walls that also served as a place of residence. For this reason, it combines military elements with palatial aspects that made life more comfortable. Built in the last years of the eleventh century, it now houses a library and the Ethnological Museum of the region.

For lovers of nature, you can make routes and excursions in the region where this town is located: Gúdar-Javalambre. It consists of 2 not very high mountain ranges with a great diversity of flora and fauna, composed mainly of pines and oaks.
