Mas del Blat

This rural house was an old 17th century farmhouse located in Calonge, which has been restored for tourism on the Costa Brava. At all times the original structure has been respected, so that the interior still houses the wooden beams and the vaults of the stone walls.

Its size makes it perfect for large groups and large families, as it can accommodate 10 people in total. The 220 m2 that make up it are divided into two floors, in addition to the enormous plot of grass that surrounds it. In front are the forest and mountains, a panoramic view visible from the house.

• There are 4 rooms:, two of them have 2 single beds, one has a king size bed and the last one has another king size bed and a sofa bed. All of them are oriented towards the windows that overlook the garden, to wake you up every morning among nature.

• The sheets are included and the towels will be left on the bedspread for the bathrooms, rooms that share the rooms, some communicating with each other. The household items also promote the well-being of our guests, as the surrounding shelves are filled with books and the lamps are adapted to reading.

• Therefore, the 2 bathrooms can appear en suite and have been equipped with sophisticated furniture that invites you to rest under the shower or to have a quieter moment in the bathtub. Its best quality is the good natural lighting that comes from the outside.

• For these toilets there are varied products ranging from soaps to a hair dryer that comes in handy when getting out of the water, next to the toilets we will also leave supplies of toilet paper.

• Already on the ground floor, , the living room has direct access to the patio and this fact also illuminates the large room. As we have said, the old houses come to light in the architecture and are complemented by the wood-burning fireplace that exists before going outside. The heat of the fire is counteracted by the fans.

• Meanwhile, the sofas are grouped around a wooden table with tourist information and next to the wall there is a bench with cushions to sit on. Further along under the stone arch is the kitchen, with a rustic design and with a dining room to share the homemade menu. There is no lack of detail, coffee maker included and a good list of appliances such as the oven and ceramic hob for stews.

• In addition to the garden facilities, there is also a space dedicated to television, where you can put Netflix. The game room has a collection of fun, with board games, dance music and even ping pong table.

Outside they are waiting for you:

• A porch that is the connection with the grass area that surrounds this home. It has a long dining room that extends onto the terrace to enjoy summer afternoons here with a barbecue on the barbecue. There are also armchairs that are grouped together forming a chill out to strengthen ties while watching the sunset.

• Although the main protagonist is the pool, an open-air pool that is surrounded by hammocks and umbrellas.

• A small corner with a couple of chairs surrounding a small table has been dedicated to be alone in front of the forest, perhaps have a glass of wine and enjoy the tranquility.

This villa is located in the municipality of Colonge, in Girona, in the area intended for coastal tourism. Its proximity to the sea means that you can reach the beaches of on the Costa Brava in five minutes, one of the closest being Platja Torre Valentina. Honoring the medieval part of the Catalan town, it is characterized by its watchtower and the sand is white in front of the calm waters of the Mediterranean.

Another of the sandy beaches that can be found here is the Platja de Sant Antoni which, thanks to its shallow depth and services, becomes really attractive for families with children. Next to it stretches the promenade, a long path to enjoy the sea breeze.

For hiking lovers, the vall dels Molins is a route that will allow you to explore the forests through the so-called 'Water Trail', which will take you through the undergrowth next to the river.

As for green spaces that contrast with the soft blue of the coast, the Parc del Convent dels Agustins is one of the most interesting places to visit. This particular point distills history in each of the elements recovered from an ancient monastery, remains that remain standing today thanks to their conservation.
