Mas del Bou

Mas del Bou is a rural house for 8 people, with p atio and barbecue, which is located in the Catalan area of ​​ Alta Anoia.

Distributed in three floors, the house has 4 rooms, two of which are double with single beds, and other two are double and have large beds.

The house also has 2 renovated bathrooms, one on each floor, and with whirlpool shower in both.

The ground floor collects the entrance to the house, and the first floor, consists of:

• 2 rooms, one of them double and one of marriage.
• Bathroom with whirlpool
• Large dining room with fireplace
• Sofa and armchairs area with television
• A small room with mini-chain, small library with information about the surroundings and rest area.

In l to second floor, another 2 rooms and another bathroom. We also have extra beds and cribs for babies if you want to increase the occupation of the house.

The exterior of the house is furnished for use. With a table of terrace and a barbecue, this fenced yard permits to perform outdoor activities without having to leave the premises.

This building continues to maintain the original beams, and a decoration consistent with the environment make it balanced and rural. Before becoming a rural house, it was an old accommodation / hostel for travelers and pilgrims.

The area of ​​the Alta Antoia is a very rich area, both for its crops and landscapes, as for its villages and small towns with medieval history.

Some monuments such as the I Romanesque church of San Pere de Sallavinera, or that of San Perdo de Baixadors, of the same style. In the same town, you can also visit the Castle of Boixadors, a key building in medieval times, for its location on a plateau from where all the roads could be controlled.

Another one of the medieval places that you can visit is La Fortesa, a small town of less than 100 people that continues to survive on agriculture and farming.

Alta Anoia is a consortium of more than 10 municipalities, all of them with a long history and surrounded by a landscape typical of the interio r of Catalonia, with vine crops and wineries manufacturing the typical cava.
