Description of Mas el Molí

Fantastic Caserío located in the population of Sant Esteve de Llagmena, belonging to the beautiful Garrotxa region, in Girona. Next to the Sierra de Finestres and almost on the banks of the quiet River Flamena, it is surrounded by an exceptional nature in which to enjoy wonderful tranquility.

It has a maximum capacity of 12 people (more 3 other places in supplementary beds) that is distributed in 6 double rooms. old farmhouse dating from the 18th century, retains all the charm of its past and originality, without giving up the services and comforts of today. 

Regarding the house and its facilities:

  • It has an amblio hall of very stately appearance in which its spectacular married ceilings and whole stone walls stand out, in which we can find some very particular dark dark wooden furniture.
  • The lounge is a very wide stay of high roofs in which a chimney enormous environment stands out as a central element, a series of sofas are arranged. It is also worth highlighting the wide dining table wood as well as the ladder that is accessed to the upper floor.
  • The cooking-dining
  • The house consists of 6 double rooms that are divided into 3 marriage rooms, which stand out for being spacious and decorated with rustic and very elegant touches such as curtains to separate environments and give more privacy, and other 3 double bedrooms but of 2 individual beds of lower dimensions but very comfortable and in which the wood furniture stands out.
  • Regarding the bathrooms, the house is equipped with 3 bathrooms complete with bathtubs.
  • In addition, the house has some visitable areas that are the old grocery store, in which the products produced by the hamlet and the old mill were sold. It also has a small collection of typical agricultural instruments and tools.

  • It has a landscaped zone and with grass on the front.
  • The garden is the one that highlights, in it we can find the exterior pool, surrounded by furniture such as sun loungers and next to which a exterior shower and the barbecue area are located, which includes a pergola and a cenor. In addition, we can also find a wide Solada Zone.
  • The house also has a small water that in the ancient managed to work the mill as well as a Huerta of large dimensions.
  • We also find a grass large in which the horses that owners possess, as well as a corral with chickens, dogs and cats.

my name is Nuria, and I consider myself a woman who loves nature and dealing with people as well as very active.

Since 2000 I try that the treatment we give in the accommodation is very personal, putting a lot of illusion, like the first day. In addition, I love that our guests know the precious place of the Garrotxa, very quiet and close to Girona.

Our accommodation is a farmer, ideal for those who want to travel with friends or with the family, since it has very wide stays.

In addition, one of its strengths is the fact of finding ourselves in the middle of nature, although perfectly communicated with the people of Sant Esteve de Flamena.
