Mas Torigues

It is una farmhouse perfectly restored fourteenth century, located in the municipality de Santa Maria d'Olo, about 3 km from the town center and surrounded by forests and fields. The farmhouse is located north of Catalonia, just over an hour from the center of Barcelona.

It has a capacity of 18 people so if you want to travel in a group, it is a perfect option.

Distributed en 9 rooms of which 6 are double y 3, doubles ; all well located in the 2 floors of the farmhouse. The spaces of the house are unifamilar and are equipped for between 2 and 4 people.

Each and every one of the rooms have a bathroom ready for use, complete set of un towels, heating, cot if necessary and television. Equipped with modern and attractive materials, from the ceramic floor to a mirror as wide as the shower area. Each room has a small kitchen equipped with a microwave, sink, bar fridge and a vitroceramic cooker.

All spaces in the house are different and are adapted to the needs of occupation. If you take a walk through the facilities you can appreciate how the architectural styles of 2 periods come together in one. rock walls are complemented with great style modern materials and high quality The farmhouse has been restored respecting the structure of the old building, preserving the architectural characteristics of the Catalan farmhouses of the time.

If our guests wish, they can request the rooms that have terrace. From them you can appreciate the beauty of the surrounding forests and valleys ; and some sunsets to remove the hiccups. The terrace is equipped with a table and enough chairs for all guests.

On each floor of the house there are common spaces where you can also take a break and live, if you want, with the other guests of the house. Also outside the house there are excellent and discreet corners to simply enjoy the nature that surrounds the whole place.

The entire campus evoke another era and lifestyle. You will have time and space to relax breathing the clean air that you can enjoy. But there is also room for the leisure ; we have pool suitable for bathing large and small. The lawn surrounding the pool serves de makeshift soccer field, as well as being a spectacular terrace to enjoy the sun, for it also have comfortable chairs . In the interior of the farmhouse there are small places full of magic where you can have a coffee with family or friends, small redoubts of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of our daily life. Inside we un game room with foosball, ping-pong weight and billiards, plus a trampoline for the enjoyment of all familia.

On the ground floor we have a kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils to ensure the comfort of all. Among them, a barbecue ready to be used. We have 2 rooms for events with capacity of 50 people each. We have tables and other furniture necessary to host family or business meetings.

The farmhouse is less than 10 minutes by car from Santa María de Oló, a town over 100 years old; It is dated between the years 889 and 890. In the town they live little more than 1000 inhabitants but nevertheless offers great possibilities for tourism. You can visit the Barracas de Viña de Oló, or the Santa María viewpoint among many others. If you visit the town from January 20 or in mid-August you can enjoy the two big parties of the town.

The village has an increasingly important agricultural production such as beef, pork or poultry.
