Mirador de Silos

This rural accommodation is located in a privileged place in the province Burgos, in which we can get the rest we are looking for. is rented entirely so the stay with your family can be very pleasant.

The house is inside a completely private plot, so we can move freely throughout the environment. This has a very spacious porch, a garden, with all the necessary furniture to enjoy outdoors, and a garden. We also have a retired area outside the house with barbecue and roasting oven.

When we enter the house, its classic and elegant decoration can be seen in every corner, both the furniture and the small details.

His great lounge is chaired by a fireplace and a great table in which to enjoy the nice meals. It also has comfortable sofas on which to rest while watching a movie on the television o on the player DVD.

On the same floor we find a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils and the appliances in good condition. We also have a common use bathroom which is very functional.

On the upper floor we have all the rooms.

It has a total of 6 rooms: 4 doubles, one single and one of marriage. The latter has fireplace in its interior. This part of the house is completed with 2 full bathrooms and 2 large terraces with stunning views of the Monastery of Silos and of course the natural landscape surrounding the house.

If you come to the house in winter, we have heating radiators whose operation is by oil boiler, in addition to the 2 chimneys of the house that can be used without problem.

The Mirador de Silos is located in Santo Domingo de Silos, Burgos, within the protected natural area called Tabladillo Valley.

One of the main attractions of this area is the XX Yecla gorge that can be done on foot thanks to some hanging walkways that have been installed. The landscape that you have at your feet is quite abrupt and sometimes gives the feeling that the mountains come together. Even so it is an easy road to make, they are 600 meters long at 100 meters of height of the stream.

The call "Triangle of Arlanza" is formed by Lerma, Covarrubias and Santo Domingo de Silos. These 3 municipalities have a great wealth of both art and culture. Santo Domingo de Silos is also part of the famous "Camino del Cid". Once here, you have to visit the cloister of the Monastery which is very important within the current Spanish church.

And although a little further, at about 59 kilometers, but also very interesting to visit, is Burgos. The Cathedral of Santa María de Burgos is a pleasure for the eyes of lovers of the gothic art, so if you want to make a more extensive excursion outside the house, we recommend going to the capital to enjoy the views and its gastronomy.
