Palacio de Velamazán

The house that we present has some history since is part of a very important Palace in the area and whose construction was ordered by the first Marqués de Velamazán in the XVII century. The house is located in the west and although it has been renovated, inside it have been respected certain details of the time.

We wanted to give a very personal touch of ours and something more modern but without losing the charm that characterizes it. You will feel at home without doubt thanks to all the comforts that account.

There is a total of 4 rooms divided into a double and 3 single beds. They are bedrooms with warm colors in which you will be able to rest perfectly. They have sets of sheets and blankets, as well as cupboards and tables to organize all your clothes and accessories. All have windows with beautiful views to the outside that also allow the entrance of much light giving the room a greater sense of spaciousness.

In the first floor we find a bathroom, en the floor above is the other. In this way everything is more distributed. Both have bathtub and sets of towels incorporated.

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances modernos latest generation that are combined with an antique furniture chaired by a very characteristic wood oven. In this way we are sure that your food will remain perfectly rich and you will become the king or queen of this palace.

We have 2 living rooms, one of them is on the first floor with a very comfortable sofa bed and a TV, it is a quite intimate area. The other living room is more spacious as it respects one of the old rooms. It has a large fireplace, 2 sofa beds and also TV. It also incorporates a large dining table so that all the tenants of the house can eat together.

You have a parking for you and your whole family where to put all the cars, besides it is at the door of the house and this will be very useful for you. In the whole town there are tracks and parks so that the little ones can have fun.

Visiting our house at Velamazán you have a very wide offer to visit magical places in the province of Soria. Between Almazán and Berlanga del Duero hides this beautiful lodging.

Precisely in Almazán is Palace of the Hurtado de Mendoza, was built in the sixteenth century and is Gothic. One of its facades overlooks the Douro River. Almazán is a Roman villa and that is why we are going to find monuments typical of this style. An example is the entrance doors to it, Puerta de Herreros or Puerta del Mercado are two clear examples. The church of San Miguel is one of the emblems of the city and of all the Romanesque of Soria.

Berlanga del Duero is another one of those wonderful places that will be worth visiting. Inside the wall rises his castle of the fifteenth century that has been built on others that had previously. Today is a beautiful building that impresses as soon as you see it. Characteristic is also the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria del Mercado, was built during four years in the fifteenth century, the result jumps at sight.

Finally we recommend you immerse yourself in nature by the hand of the famous Laguna Negra. In the Sierra la Laguna Negra Natural Park and the Urbión Glacial Circuses we find this true wonder that rises from the mountains and is said to be linked to the sea thanks to underground caves.
