Posada de Linares - La Bodega

This rural house is located in the Cantabrian town of Selaya, a quiet village of the valley of Pas. The apartment is located in what was the cellar of a 17th century mountain mansion that maintains the original structure and the original construction materials.

This apartment can accommodate 4 people distributed in a room with double bed and a sofa-bed in the room with capacity for 2 people. In addition to the rooms, the apartment has:

• A shared bathroom in the hall fully equipped with everything you need to make you more comfortable.

• A kitchen completa equipped with microwave, dishwasher and glass ceramic. It is open to the room and has a somewhat pecualiar shape. Under a brick countertop are said appliances.

• A living room with sofas in which to stop to rest with a coffee while watching an entertaining movie on the television.

Outside the house you will find:

• A green zone that surrounds the whole set and that has swings y games for the little ones to enjoy.

• A picnic area where you can enjoy barbecues and a floral garden con grove to walk around and enjoy the house.

In addition, the house has heating during the year to be able to use it in the winter months and parking area to be able to go by car without problems.

Selaya is a town belonging to the community of Cantabria and located very close to Vega del Pas, in the valley of the Pas, where the sobaos come from. Walking around the area you will get to Tunnel de la Engaña, a wide tunnel designed to be traversed by a train track that never came to be used. Nowadays the tunnel can only be crossed on foot and it is an ideal excursion to take a walk in the surroundings.

In the same region can be seen the caves of Monte del Castillo, a set of 4 caves that preserve cave paintings of the Paleolithic, which amaze because of the color and accuracy with respect to the animals they represent. Although only 2 of the caves are open to the public, it is worth contemplating this art from so many centuries ago.

Very close to the area is the Nature Park Cabárceno, a large zoo that houses about a hundred species of animals and insects from the 5 continents with the peculiarity that almost all are kept in a regime of semi -Freedom, so that visitors can walk around with the car while you are surrounded by all kinds of exotic creatures.
