Sierra del Alba

Sierra del Alba is a nice house that is located in the village of Barriomartín, in the province of Soria. It is a traditional accommodation that has been recently rehabilitated and this has allowed it to become a rural establishment endowed with incredible comfort. The decoration is very careful and does not lack any detail.

Upon arrival at the house you will find a living room decorada in light tones that combine perfectly with the brick walls that surround the entire room. Several sofas and a TV set this cozy corner to which you can give a little more atmosphere with the fireplace.

Just behind is the kitchen, fully open. A whole wall is the countertop where we have enabled furniture and all the appliances so you can cook freely during your visit to our house. In addition there is a oval table that will allow everyone to eat together at the same time.

We have a total of 3 fully equipped rooms con their respective blankets and sheets sets. They are very elegant and bright and once again we will highlight that stone wall that gives a different touch to each of the bedrooms. We have 2 double bedrooms with single beds and then we have another more family room with 4 beds, perfect if you come with children for example.

There are also throughout the house 3 bathrooms. One of them is toilet so it is composed of toilet and sink, while the other 2 are more complete even to have one of them bathtub with hydromassage.

In the outside of the house we have a nice garden en which, if you visit us in good weather, you can take your barbecue and of course breathe the fresh air in the picnic area.

Without a doubt a very successful option to stay with us if you decide to visit the province of Soria since it is very close to many sites of tourist interest. Also you can come with your own vehicle without any problem.

Barriomartín is characterized by being part of the northern Sierra de Soria which gives it a landscape full of flora and fauna very characteristic. Great forests of oaks and beech trees where raptors fly over every day. For this reason we are going to recommend a series of visits that have a lot to do with nature since in this way you will be able to disconnect from the big city.

The Sierra de Urbión is undoubtedly one of the largest natural places in Soria, which also borders other provinces. The Natural Park Laguna Negra and Circums Glaciares de Urbión is the protected area that is located in the interior of the sierra. The glacial cirques that make up the landscape over time have become lagoons, creating a more beautiful picture if possible. The Laguna Negra is undoubtedly the great protagonist. Legend has it that it has no bottom and that it is connected to the sea thanks to subterranean caves.

Finally, the visit to the Canyon del Río Lobos Natural Park, is also a must. The river is the center of all this immense canyon that nature has been creating over the years. You can access from various points and through several trails. In the interior it is possible to emphasize the presence of the hermitage of San Bartolomé that dates from the XIIIth century and is of románico style.
