Lizárraga-Ergoyena is a town in Navarre located in the Ergoyena Valley, west of Navarra. According to the census conducted in 2007, its population is 206 inhabitants who are mainly engaged in agriculture and livestock. The valley of Ergoyena is a group of forests of beech, meadows and rocks that form a rural landscape typical of mountain grazing.

The valley is sandwiched between the Urbasa, Andía and Aralar mountain ranges. The sierra de Aralar is a plateau that extends for the most part through Navarre, but reaches the province of Guipúzcoa. Being formed by limestone rocks, the landscape is full of chasms, caves and hills that have been conquered by green meadows and beech forests. In this mountain you can find several dolmens that date from the Paleolithic.

The mountain range of Urbasa-Andía forms a natural park that occupies some 21,408 hectares and is formed by beech and pasture. This natural area is divided into 4 distinct zones: the Sierra de Urbasa, the Sierra de Andía, the nature reserve of Nacedero del Urederra and the mountains bordering the Améscoas.
